Again. And I love it.
Photos to come when I'm less exhausted (it's 12:30am and I have a 9am appointment. Must sleep).

I wasn't sure where else to send this to since I'm not sure which email you still use, but please please PLEASE explain to me how this stimulus package is actually a good idea and how Obama isn't turning our country Socialist?
Well, I'm certainly no economist, but it seems to me there's a few items of importance. First, what on earth will the market do if, after all this talk of a stimulus package, nothing is passed? The situation, I'd assume, would get drastically worse. Second, there is a ton in the bill as I last heard about it (I've been away from the news for about a day, so I'm a bit behind) that will create employment opportunities- and we certainly need more jobs. Third, here's a definition of socialism: "Socialism refers to a broad set of economic theories of social organization advocating state or collective ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods, and a society characterized by equal opportunities for all individuals with a fair or egalitarian method of compensation."
I have absolutely no problem with the fed gov't having more control over the financial institutions who got us in this mess in the first place. In fact, I think that's a very very good thing. But, that in itself is not socialism. Going back to the definition, it is state or collective control over means of production/goods distribution. I don't see that in the stimulus bill. And, for what it's worth, yes, I was an Obama maniac during the campaign. Still think he's a pretty amazing person and will be a good President. But, I tend to think of myself as being pretty fiscally conservative. There are things that I don't like about the stimulus package, and things I do. No one and certainly no piece of legislation can be perfect. But I think we need something, and this is probably only the start of the very long road we're on to get our economy back on track.
Have no idea if I've come anywhere close to answering your question, but heck, it's nearly 2am. What do you expect from me? :-)
